Every yurt at River Yurt Village has a private cedar hot tub, an Argentine Gaucho Grill, a palapa-covered wood deck with wicker hanging swings and Adirondack bar stools, and string lights overhead. Inside: central A/C and heat, free WiFi, a kitchenette and a private bath. The Medina River is a short walk down from the property — the yurts have river access, not river views.

Built for two, with room for four
The Love Bird is our honeymoon yurt — a one-bedroom, one-bath retreat along the Medina River designed around romance rather than capacity. It sleeps four, but it is built for two.
The soaking tub
The focal point of the space is a clawfoot soaking tub, set right in the room. Plush robes are provided. There is a separate sink and toilet room, so the tub stays part of the living space rather than tucked behind a door.
Inside
A king bed anchors the bedroom area, with a large standing mirror and plenty of storage. The clear dome overhead brings in daylight and, after dark, the stars. A queen sleeper sofa in the living area brings the total to four guests.
The smart TV is streaming only — bring your own account. Linens and pillows are provided.
The kitchenette
A breakfast table and a well-equipped kitchenette: Galanz retro refrigerator and freezer, Nostalgia retro microwave, toaster, toaster oven, double-skillet portable cooktop, Keurig with starter pods, utensils, cups, wine glasses, plates, pots and pans.
Outside
A wood deck under a thatched palapa, with swings and string lights. The Argentine gaucho grill is yours for the stay. And the cedar hot tub sits privately in the trees — the natural end to an evening.

Getting here
One block off Main Street in Bandera
River Yurt Village sits on 21 acres at 1627 Texas Highway 16 N, Bandera, TX 78003 — one block from Main Street, a quarter mile past the Beverage Barn. Walk to the shops, restaurants and live music of the Cowboy Capital of the World, then walk back to your own hot tub.
Steps lead down through the cypress to the Medina River for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The yurts have river access; the river views belong to the RV sites.
