Every yurt at River Yurt Village has a private cedar hot tub, an Argentine Gaucho Grill, a palapa-covered wood deck with wicker hanging swings and Adirondack bar stools, and string lights overhead. Inside: central A/C and heat, free WiFi, a kitchenette and a private bath. The Medina River is a short walk down from the property — the yurts have river access, not river views.

Mourning Dove has a 30/50 amp electric hookup right beside the yurt, so family travelling in an RV can park at the door instead of across the property. Seven people sleep inside, with room for a rig alongside.

King bed, bunk room, and a hot tub in the trees
The Mourning Dove sleeps seven and has a king bed in the master — the largest bed in the village. It suits a family, a girls' trip, or two couples splitting a weekend.
Inside
The open-concept living area has a queen sleeper sofa and a smart TV, streaming only with your own account. High ceilings and the wood frame keep the space bright.
The master holds a king bed and a second TV, with the clear dome directly overhead. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk. Linens, pillows and towels are provided throughout.
The kitchenette
A dining table with benches and nearly everything a full kitchen has: Galanz retro refrigerator and freezer, Nostalgia retro microwave, toaster, toaster oven, double-skillet portable cooktop, Keurig with starter pods, plus utensils, cups, wine glasses, plates, pots and pans.
Outside
Under the palapa-covered porch you will find wicker hanging swings and Adirondack bar stools, with string lights for the evening. The Argentine gaucho grill is set up in the outdoor sitting area beneath oak, pecan, cypress, mulberry and cedar trees.
The cedar hot tub is private to this yurt, tucked into the trees.
The river and the town
The Medina River is a short walk for swimming, kayaking or tubing. Main Street Bandera is one block away — museums, rodeos, horseback riding, and live music at the honky-tonks.

One block off Main Street in Bandera
River Yurt Village sits on 21 acres at 1627 Texas Highway 16 N, Bandera, TX 78003 — one block from Main Street, a quarter mile past the Beverage Barn. Walk to the shops, restaurants and live music of the Cowboy Capital of the World, then walk back to your own hot tub.
Steps lead down through the cypress to the Medina River for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The yurts have river access; the river views belong to the RV sites.
