Room for seven, built around the dome

The Mockingbird sleeps seven across two bedrooms. The clear dome above the master bed is the thing guests mention most — daylight streams through it, and at night you can watch the stars from bed.

Inside

An open-concept living space with a queen sleeper sofa and a smart TV (streaming only, no cable). The wood frame and high ceilings give the room its character.

The master has a queen bed, a second TV, and the dome overhead. The second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk that works for kids or adults. Linens, pillows and towels are provided, and we supply card games for the evening.

The kitchenette

Galanz retro refrigerator and freezer, Nostalgia retro microwave, toaster, toaster oven, double-skillet portable cooktop, and a Keurig with starter pods, sweetener and creamer. Utensils, cups, wine glasses, plates, pots and pans, and a dining table with benches and chairs.

Outside

The palapa-covered porch has wicker hanging swings and Adirondack bar stools, with string lights overhead. Fire up the Argentine gaucho grill and cook under a canopy of oak, pecan, cypress, mulberry and cedar.

Your private cedar hot tub sits in the trees beside the deck.

Nearby

The Medina River is a short walk — swimming, kayaking, tubing, and wildlife along the banks. Main Street is one block away, a quarter mile past the Beverage Barn.
